- 1 egg
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoon salt
- 1½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper
- In a saucepan, beat the egg well then stream in the oil. Beat very well until thick, almost like mayonnaise.
- Stir in the other ingredients and heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
- Baste chicken every 15 minutes over low heat.
