Guava Buttercream Frosting


  • 3-4 cups confectioner’s sugar sifted
  • ½ cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • ½ cup guava jam
  • 2-3 tablespoons concentrated guava nectar
  • pinch salt


  1. In a large mixer bowl, whip the butter for several minutes until very light and fluffy.
  2. Slowly add the confectioner’s sugar until the butter becomes thicker and stiff.
  3. Add guava jam and nectar and whip until combined.
  4. If needed, add a few more spoons of confectioner’s sugar until desired consistency is reached.
