Aldino’s Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1⅗ ounce olive oil
  • 1⅗ ounce butter
  • 2⅖ ounce bacon
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 stalk celery
  • ¼ cup parsley
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • ½ teaspoon clove
  • ½ teaspoon marjoram
  • 5 ounces ground beef
  • 5 ounces ground pork
  • 6⅖ ounces beef stock
  • 60 ounces tomatoes
  • 10 ounces tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Saute garlic, onion, celery, and parsley in olive oil, butter, and bacon.
  2. Stir in beef and pork.
  3. Add beef stock, basil, cloves, and marjoram. Add remaining ingredients.
